This was a special 'Thanks for giving', Thank you card created for the Cal State Fullerton Center for Oral and Public History department. The card was sent out to alumni and donors that had made contributions to the university throughout the past year. The Thanksgiving holiday seemed like the perfect timing to send out a card with this sentiment.
It features an image from the Francis R. Holcomb Family's Photograph Collection of a Thanksgiving at home, taken in 1898. The tapestry featured on the back is an effort to mimic the wallpaper in the photograph.
